Site updates – new galleries and research

Greetings all,

Over the last couple of weeks this page has been updated. I have added new images to 15th and 16th century galleries. I have also created a new gallery which contains images used in my French hood research. There are some 250 images there – most of them of three-dimensional representations of the French hood.

I have also uploaded the most recent version of my paper on French hoods. It can be accessed from the research page or at this link – The French Hood 14 Jan 2017.

    Hello,

Your paper on 16th Century French dress was incredibly helpful for my research on the portraits of James V and his two French queens. I’d like to cite your paper, what collegium did you present this at?

    Many thanks!

      Hi Shauna,
It was an SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) collegium a few years back. I can’t remember the exact name of it now, but I think it was the same as the paper title. If you would like to cite the paper, just my name (real name is Irina Lubomirska, SCA name is Alliette Delcourt) and the paper title should be fine I think. A link to the page would be appreciated, but is up to you. I am very happy to hear that you found it helpful. Thank you for the feedback.

      cheers
      Irina
